Prayer leading
Pray - We usually meet before the meeting out in the back corridor at 7pm to pray and chat through the plan for the night before starting at 7.30pm
Make a plan - but you don't need to stick to it! It's always useful to have an idea of what you're doing (God can guide and lead us through what we plan and he can lead in the moment through the guiding of the Spirit) One is not better than the other, we should be open to both.
Be a team - don't carry it all yourself, instead work with the rest of your team - listening to each other and working together to help minister to God and to lead the room.
Prophecy should be tested with the meeting leader before being shared on the mic. Some prophecy is directional and helpful to be shared on the mic, some is encouraging, some is simply affirmation of what God is already doing in the meeting and therefore doesn't need to be shared, some is useful but missing the mark in interpretation, application or the right spirit and so would be better translated and shared by the meeting leader, some prophecy is for the individual themselves, some may just be for prayer or awareness, some is for now, some is for later, and some prophetic words are wrong. And so in our bigger meetings we always aim to test prophecy.
